We hiked Mt. Watatic, just a few minutes away in MA. The views are really some of the best in the area besides the top of Mount Monadnock (in my opinion anyway...) You can see some of the White mountains in Northern NH...some of the Green mountains In VT... Mount. Monadnock of course..and even Boston. The kids were amazed at the views.
Yes.... her shorts were too big and she had to keep "hiking" them up..and those shoes!? Who dressed this kid that morning!? Slip on shoes..... apparently we were in a rush to head out.
We hiked Pack Monadnock another day with our friends. Another good hike...the kids did awesome. The girls trucked right along leading us the entire way. Kale man stayed with daddy and did great and the two littles stuck with us moms for the most part... but really did great considering their small legs!

We enjoyed our hikes....and even though I do not see myself hiking Mount. Washington in the hear future....Im glad to be back in NH and I'm looking forward to driving up it sometime soon and enjoying those AMAZING views! Next hike... Mount. Monadnock... it's been years (before I had kids) since I have hiked that one!
