So K has another cast... we went for x-rays the other day and they showed that it wasn't quite healed all the way. So he is sporting blue this time, and waterproof! I didn't know they made waterproof casts.... AWESOME! Makes things so much easier.... especially when its hot and he wants to join the kids in the sprinkler. Not to mention he takes after his father (yes his father....) and LOVES his tubbies!! he could sit in there for ever and play.

B had her 6 month follow up appointment with her cardiologist. Things don't look much different and we are able to hold off on any kind of medications at this point. (Phew!) We go back again in 6 months. Some have asked us if it is healing.... her heart condition will not heal it self, it will only get worse. Her Dr. told us to expect medication & surgery in her childhood years. We just continue to pray and thank God that for now she has the green light...to run and be her wild and crazy, spunky little self!

Our girls last day of first grade was this past Friday the 8th! Can't believe I now officially have 2 second graders, AND a preschooler!! For now though... bring on summer vacation!

We are still working on our home projects. Like the playroom I still haven't finished. At least it is neat and tidy at this point.... however we've been spending time outside, it will get done before winter ;) The deck is usable and looks great... just needs the steps (we have the old ones rigged up for the time being) and needs to be sealed. He(as I posted before) had his A.T. which was 3 weeks this time, and is now working 3-11 for a few weeks. So his projects are on pause mode until his schedule changes back... or we have a free weekend. Looking at our calendar for the summer, those free weekends are looking pretty scarce. it's going to be a busy one!

Oh and my husband, when he does have free time, would rather play with the kids..... OR........ their toys ;)
