American Girls....

The girls decided they wanted to have a day out at the American Girl doll store for their birthday. We discussed party options... but opted for the girls day out with their lil best friend and her mom. Works out nice because her mom happens to be one of my closest friends ;)
The store is only about an hour from our home, it's the Boston location (In the Natick Mall) so it makes a perfect day trip. We had a blast!!

We spent at least 2 hours in the store when we first arrived. The first stop was the doll hair salon, where the three dolls were pampered!

The girls picked out hair styles and ribbon colors for their dolls and watched as their dolls were transformed before their very eyes. Of course they all picked matching ribbon!

They very carefully decided on the perfect outfits and accessories for their dolls. This is a big decision, and takes lots of time... I mean after all the store is two floors of awesome!

They looked over everything twice before making the final decisions.

They of course had to stop and pose with the ballerina! (shame on me for not knowing exactly which doll this is....)

And get a picture in front of the giant birthday poster too.....
Three beautiful lil' ladies

The Cheese Cake Factory happens to be next to the store...so we couldn't just walk by....we enjoyed lunch!

YUM!

We spent the rest of the afternoon finding some awesome deals through out the rest of the mall. Got some good back to school shopping in! Score! The three girls were on a serious mission to find the perfect accessories for themselves....
We could hardly keep up with them!! These girls are going to be in trouble when they get older.... or we could have a ton of fun on our future girls outings! ;)

They finally found what they wanted!

Don't they look so studious! ;) Actually, they look adorable... BUT they also look so much older, and well, that is just not allowed! Birthday or not.... they need to stay little!

We did have cake with the family a few nights earlier. So they got their cake! They wanted a ballerina cake...I usually go a lil over board and get into making their cakes or cupcakes... but with the big move, and not being in our own house...we kept it low key, and just added some "Ballerinas" to the top ;)
NINE!!!!????
Her face! haha.... my sweet girls!
~Love~
